Lulworth Cove at sunset

All week I’ve been hoping for a pretty sunset – it had been quite promising with plenty of sunny days and just the right amount of clouds. We headed off to Lulworth Cove on Tuesday evening for a little walk, with fingers crossed for some nice skies as the sun set.


Unfortunately there were too many clouds around the horizon for the sun to give us anything spectacular, but it was still a lovely evening. The ducks seemed happy anyway…

It was so windy though! Can you tell from this pic?


Some gorgeous light to the west…


… and I always love the colour of the water.


The waves were hitting the mouth of the cove pretty hard…



… but it never really matters too much what the weather is like, always breathtaking scenery around the Jurassic Coast!
