It feels like spring has come around so suddenly this year. In reality of course it’s been warming up for weeks and wild flowers have been popping up all over the place. I’ve been cracking my camera out at every opportunity, particularly since a week after I took this picture…

Been waiting for some sun so that I could take pictures of these little blue wildflowers – but got an itch to go out with my camera this evening despite the drizzle 🌧 glad I did! Love how the little raindrops came out 💧 #wildflowers #poole #nature #naturelovers #raindrops #upclose #macro #dof #nikon #d5500 #blueflowers #flowerphotography #flowers #floral #dorset #uknature #wild #macrolovers #naturegram
… all the little blue flowers had been mown away! So a lot to be said for making the most of things while you have them.
It was another family weekend, which meant guaranteed sunshine and lots of
chilling warming up in the garden.
Who doesn’t love a bluebell?
We went for a little walk down to the river, passing trees and hidden cottages…
We came across a field filled with horses grazing – they were quite friendly, getting close and personal to all sorts of passers by.
New favourite hobby: taking pictures of bees/hoverflies in mid air.
Isn’t it exhausting, all those flowers and sunshine! It’s a hard life.
Definitely my favourite time of the year 🙂
